It harks back to a time when we would create environments then improvise in them, often at the point when we would have no idea of what the show would actually be. We’d play and Hugo would shoot. When we would finally get the images back, they seemed to us like clues as to what it was that we were making. Somehow like the act of making the images would conjure the show into life.”
