40 years of tearing up the rulebook
It’s an extraordinary record: six artists sustaining a unique partnership and creating work together for over 40 years. This birthday year is an opportunity to reflect on that astonishing journey. Over the next 12 months, the company invite you to join them in exploring, discovering and rediscovering not only the company’s history but also its future. We’ll be sharing images and thoughts from the archive in our FE Recall project, the first of these are available below and you can follow them on #FE40 on X and Instagram.
There are plenty of opportunities to see the company this year. There is a new show, Signal to Noise, having a European premiere in March and a UK premiere at the Southbank, London in October, alongside an extensive European and UK tour. The Southbank performance is part of a London Season of work, with Forced Entertainment presenting new and existing shows, alongside exciting collaborative projects, find out more below.
To celebrate 40 years of tearing up the rulebook, Forced Entertainment want to share a landmark project with online audiences., and have shared video recordings of all the group’s Complete Works: Table Top Shakespeare performances online, for free, to be watched, enjoyed and shared.
